Common solutions

Static drain

Static draining is a process used to remove the buildup of static electrical charges on an object or surface. Static can be generated by friction between materials, and static drain seeks to dissipate these charges to prevent unexpected electrical discharges or to operate sensitive equipment.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Disconnect all cables connected to the device:
– Electric power.
– Internet.
– Video data, VGA, HDMI, etc.
– USB.
– Others.
3. Wait a couple of minutes.
4. Press the “Feed” key for 10 seconds (printers).
5. Reconnect, power on and test of operation.
